Sometimes Falling Up
A brand new album of 8 songs written and produced with inpatients of Ward 5, Newsam Centre, Leeds. Over a 12 month project we worked with men who didn't at first think they had anything to offer the creative process, most didn't recognise themselves as creatives or thought they'd ever be able to write a song. 12 months later we had a finished album of songs covering loss, love and escape. This album is a testament to coming through and showing resilience while all the while these men were working towards their recovery from drug and alcohol addiction.
Working in Leeds and North Yorkshire we run groups for people who are in need of support, guidance and company often at a most vulnerable time in their life. Funding is getting scarcer as the need is getting larger.
Please support our groups with an affordable donation, buy a CD written by our amazing members or a T Shirt or mug knowing your morning brew has helped to make a difference to someone out in a storm.
Thank you.
